Restaurant Review: Bottle Street, Magarpatta, Pune

Restaurant Name: Bottle Street, Unit 401, 4th Floor, Seasons Mall, Magarpatta, Pune

Date of Visit : 25th December, 2016

Magarpatta city area has long been deprived of a good lounge bar since quite long now. Although there are such places in both Seasons and Amanora malls like Cuba Libre, TJ’s Brew Works, Beer Cafe, Fly High, etc. to name some of them, each of such place, although having some specialty of their own, fail at some point to fit into the so-called lounge category, atleast from my own personal perspective. The last place that I can remember fitting into my criteria was Kiva@Seasons which unfortunately closed down 🙁 Since then I have been on the hunt for a good nearby place where I can enjoy drinks with some good food to complement the spirit, good music with low decibel levels, and a relaxing environment….

So for the Christmas celebration, rather a delayed birthday celebration,  I ended up being at Bottle Street, which I guess opened very recently, late November or early December 2016. New kid in the market, barely a month old !!! I never knew that there is a 4th floor in Seasons Mall, never a need or a place happened to be above the 3rd floor 😀

Very nicely done interiors and  quite huge space with very comfortable seating provided for the guests. The outdoor seating is also spacious and pretty comfortable.

Coming to drinks, other than various bottled liquor brands, they have two drought beer options : Kingfisher and Bira  with their towers priced at 649/- and 1200/- respectively. Only Blonde Bira was available, a bit disappointing, so it would be great if they can make both White and Blonde consistently available.

For the food, the Subz Seekh Kebab was very nicely prepared. The consistency with which vegetables were minced was pretty good, the kebabs were soft and cooked to perfection. The kebabs in-itself were so delicious that the chutney provided alongside was redundant.

The Wild Mushroom Fiesta, assorted mushrooms in three varieties, was simply savory – a must have. The Mushrooms were cooked perfectly to retain the juiciness in them – simply enjoy every bite.

The Murgh Achari TIkka, atleast marination of the boneless chicken and the grilling part was excellent. The chicken itself was tender, cooked perfectly and consistently, and that extra zing of black pepper was amazing to go with the beer. But when it comes to name itself, there was nothing really Achari about it, just lacked that tangy texture as one would expect.

Coming to the Desserts, the Chocolate Mousse was just perfectly done, the only possible thing that I managed to click:(

Overall the food was excellent without anything really significant to complaint about. No pics for the food, but I am gonna get them during my next visit for sure, which should happen pretty soon.

The service was excellent, staff was very attentive. So no issues with that either.

A great and must place to visit with family, friends as well as colleagues. Seems, they do not have any restrictions on the kids entry as well, so a plus for families with kid.
